DynaGlaze#215 Base Coat

Base Coat DynaGlaze #215lays down this system’s distinctive rounded corners and tough-as-nails finish as a high-build surfacing system. This 100% solids paint features a fiber-filled thermo-setting resin that hardens quickly for simple installation and long-term durability.

Packaged as a two-part resin and hardener, the #215 Base Coat mixes at a 2.25 to 1 ratio. E

ach Base Coat layer is packaged as a 13 Gallon Kit, with two 5-gallon containers of resin and one 5-gallon container of hardener, resulting in a full 13 gallons of mixed paint. Each 13 Gallon Base Coat Kit covers approximately 200 square feet of concrete, concrete block, plastic, or metal. Two coats of the base coat are required for optimum performance.

The high impact base coat quickly dries to bright white, ready for recoating or top-coating in as little as four hours. DynaGlaze goes on smoothly and easily with either paint rollers or sprayers. Its typical application thickness is approximately 20 mils DFT.

DynaGlaze#205 Top Coat

DynaGlaze #205 Top Coat is a modified urethane/acrylic coating that provides a flexible, long-lasting glazed finish-a finish that becomes even stronger and smoother over DynaGlaze #215. This high-impact top coat adheres strongly to interior walls and ceilings for a low-glare semi-gloss finish that will not flake, scratch or chip. The #205 Top Coat also wards off UV rays and other lighting that can damage and dull wall color, as well as remaining unaffected by chemicals and stains (and flying balls).

When applying DynaGlaze #205, only one coat is needed to thoroughly seal and protect the finish underneath. Each 5 gallon container covers approximately 1200 square feet of surface area at a typical application thickness of 2.9 – 4.4 dry millimeters per coat.

Ready to Apply Kits

The DynaGlaze System is available in White, packaged in 13 gallon kits—Base Coat #215—and 5 gallon containers—Top Coat #205. Each 13-gallon kit of DynaGlaze#215consists of two5 gallon pails of resin and one 5 gallon pail of hardener.DynaGlaze #205 Top Coat is packaged exclusively in 5 gallon containers.

The low odor of this ready-to-apply tough-as-nails system make it possible to apply to interior surfaces in areas that are regularly, or even constantly, used. DynaGlaze can be applied to concrete, metal, plastic, or painted surfaces by spraying or rolling. This high-hiding, elastomeric paint dries to the touch within 4-24 hours (depending on the surrounding humidity and temperature) and reaches its full strength within three days of drying time.
