Surface Preparation: Adequate surface preparation is key to successful adhesion of Vista Patch.
To prepare cracks: Use a screwdriver or similar instrument to clean out cracks, removing any dirt and vegetation that may be present. Flush the crack with water and let dry.
To prepare spalled/damaged areas: Clean off spalled or damaged areas, removing any dirt and debris present. Using a wire brush, scrub area completely and rinse off with water.
Application Limitations: The application temperature minimum is 50°F (10°C) and rising. If the temperature is predicted to drop below 50°F (10°C) within a 24 hour period, do not apply. Also, do not apply is rain is imminent or forecasted within a 24 hour period.
Instructions: To apply Vista Patch, use a rectangular trowel or a wide putty knife and spread material flush with adjoining surface, smoothing as you go. Let the repaired area dry/cure for 48 hours before reopening to foot traffic or vehicle traffic. Do not let patch material dry on tools; to clean-up, simply wash with water.
