ASC–1300/Copper based anti-seize brings together a special blend of micro-sized copper flakes and graphite particles in a non-melt, grease base. This product does not contain Lead, Nickel or Zinc making it environmentally more responsible than other alternative anti-seizing compounds. The ingredients of this fine product include extreme high temperature / pressure additives, rust and corrosion inhibitors, dry lubricant film, and premium oil base. ASC–1300/Copper is the finest Copper base anti-seize compound on the market today. The micro-sized copper flakes and graphite particles produce a smooth creamy consistency which allows this high temperature lubricating compound to coat quickly and easily. ASC–1300/Copper will not separate, and is non-dripping and non-hardening.
ASC–1300/Copper sticks firmly to metal surfaces and exhibits superior wear resistance. This product is perfect for protection against galling, seizing, corrosion, and rust on metal surfaces. This high quality thread compound eliminates metal to metal contact which reduces friction and wrench torque to realize quick assembly and disassembly of threaded joints. Extreme temperature, vibration, expansion, and contraction have no effect on this supreme anti-seize compound. ASC–1300/Copper leaves a protective film which seals and coats components. It provides protection up to 1800°F (982°C). This Product is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of Military Specification MIL-PRF-907E (Mil-A-907E). Regular use of ASC – 1300/Copper will reduce down time and costly equipment destruction. It allows for removal of connections even after lengthy service times under extreme conditions.
ASC–1300/Copper anti-seize should be used on pipe threads, oilfield equipment, nuts, bolts, studs, flanges, gaskets, screws, taps, drills, pump and valve packings and stems, low speed bearings, conveyors, bushings, keyways and shafts, chains, sprockets and chains, gears, wire rope and cable, winches, exhaust manifolds, boilers, casting equipment, heat exchangers, battery posts or use as a dry film lubricant on heat treated surfaces. Excellent for use on equipment that is subject to high temperatures, salt water spray, highly corrosive environments or equipment that is frequently steam cleaned. As with all petroleum base anti-seizes, these products should NOT be used in oxygen service.ASC–1300/Copper comes in four convenient easy to apply options. This product is available in a brush top one pint can which can be purchased in two, six, twelve and twenty-four packs. It is also available in standard sixteen ounce grease cartridges that are also sold in two, six, twelve and twenty-four packs. ASC–1300/Copper can also be purchased in an eight pound (one gallon) container and a forty pound (five gallon) container for those large jobs.
