Verta Kote 2000 is a non sag, 100% solids epoxy coating designed for use on vertical masonry surfaces. This chemical resistant epoxy coating is recommended where a chemical and abrasion resistant product is preferred. It is considered a non blushing epoxy and provides long term protection on interior and exterior vertical surfaces. Verta Kote is non yellowing and considered a high gloss epoxy coating.

A masonry wall coating, Verta Kote 2000 is not recommended for use on latex modified concrete or over working control joints. This epoxy coating is available in several standard colors. (see color chart) As a masonry wall coating, Verta Kote 2000 can be used on pre cast masonry panels, concrete block and other masonry surfaces where a hard and cleanable epoxy coating is desired.

Verta Kote 2000 is an excellent epoxy wall coating for coating restroom block walls. This coating provides for a non porous surface that is cleanable and can even be pressure washed when desired. This durable and non porous coating helps prevent bacteria growth and also reduces objectionable odors found in many public restrooms.

As a chemical resistant epoxy coating, Verta Kote 2000 is also an excellent coating for many industrial applications. The coating has outstanding resistance to chemical fumes and enhances light reflectance. In addition, Verta Kote 2000 resists abrasion and provides a long term coating on masonry surfaces.

When using an epoxy wall coating and coating concrete block, a block filler is recommended before using Verta Kote 2000. Using a block filler seals the porous areas of block and reduces the amount of epoxy coating required. Verta Kote 2000 is mixed one part resin to one part catalyst and has a pot life of approximately 35 to 40 minutes. Two kit sizes are available, 2 and 10 gallon. A ½” nap dynel roller cover is recommended for applying Verta Kote 2000. This method is recommended for exterior as well as interior applications.

No other masonry wall coating is as tough and durable and as cleanable as Verta Kote 2000. It can be cleaned using a pressure washer and strong detergents to remove soot, grease and much more.
