FG-1200
Tech Data
Product Description
FG-1200 is part of a second generation of high performance synthetic lubricants specially designed to meet the requirements of the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. The growing trend to extend intervals between lubrication imposes stringent demands on grease performance service. Temperature extremes, shock loading, vibrations and water washout conditions add to these demands.
FG-1200 is a heavy duty synthetically thickened grease which employs a highly thermal stable synthetic base fluid. It will not wash out, pound out or melt under severe conditions.
FG-1200 is a non-toxic, water white, tasteless, odorless grease that complies with FDA regulation Title 21, CFR 178.3570 and USDA H1 rating for incidental contact.
FG-1200 is a non-toxic extreme high temperature grease recommended for applications where grease lubrication is called for and where continuous temperatures exceed 260°C (500°F). Maximum working temperature for FG-1200 should be considered to be approximately 425°C (800°F), however, higher temperatures on an intermittent basis are acceptable to 540°C (1000°F).
