Bonds to a Wide Range of Substrates

Ultra Bond is designed and highly recommended for gluing decorative laminate to particleboard and medium density fiberboard substrates. However, it also bonds with a wide range of substrates including metals, plywood, foam, rubber, cardboard, and insulation. While not recommended for unsupported vinyl, this fast tacking adhesive spray is pressure sensitive and waterproof, making it ideal for stiff porous or non-porous materials.

Highly Effective Adhesive Formula

The unique formula of this fast tacking adhesive spray combines high solids content with effective temperature resistance for an incredibly strong bond at high temperatures.

Ultra Bond is fast tacking and ready for adhesion within 30 – 60 seconds, with an open time of approximately 10-15 minutes. This aerosol adhesive acts as a temporary bond when applied to one surface and a permanent bond when applied to both substrates. Ultra Bond offers very high coverage and even distribution, supported by its webbed spray pattern. Spray applies water white and can be cleaned up with degreasers or petroleum solvents. This pressure sensitive adhesive spray contains no Methylene Chloride or CFCs; in addition, Ultra Bond has a low VOC content (<55%).  

Convenient Aerosol Spray Cans

Ultra Bond is packaged in convenient 16 ounce aerosol cans (12 ounces net weight) for simple, even application. The included spray tip is adjustable so that the user can tailor the spray pattern to each specific substrate or material, offering very high coverage that forms a cohesive, even film across the substrate.

This fast tacking adhesive spray is flammable and has a two year shelf life in unopened containers. After applying the spray adhesive, components can be joined within 30 – 60 seconds. For best results, apply Ultra Bond at temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

Test adhesive spray on a small area of the substrate to check adhesion in environment temperature and humidity.
