Mix thoroughly, 1 part by volume of part A with 1 part by volume of part B (2A: 1B in clear or neutral) for each volume of mixed epoxy, add 1 volume (Approximately 14 Pounds) of special self-leveling aggregate. Mix thoroughly until all aggregate is dispersed. Pour mixture onto floor in ribbons and spread evenly with a 1/8'to 1/4'notched squeegee. Allow to level then back-roll with a “Porcupine” or spiked roller to release air. For non-slip surface, broadcast Silica Sand, Aluminum Oxide or other aggregates onto surface before self-level sets.
For increased chemical resistance, top coat with Superior’s Novolac Epoxy Coating or UltraThane. Broadcast aggregate into first coat for skid-resistance. For improved gloss retention, top coat with UltraThane Chemical Resistant Aliphatic Urethane coating.
To prevent staining from plasticizer migration (vehicle tires), a clear top coat of UltraThane is recommended. NOTE: For Oil Saturated Concrete Floors, clean thoroughly with a suitable degreaser. Allow to dry overnight, then apply Superior’s Oil Stop Primer prior to coating installation. This primer is designed to prevent oil seepage into top coatings. Do NOT use over surfaces contaminated with vegetable oil, animal fats or synthetic oil. Do NOT apply when temperature is below 55°F. Do NOT apply to latex modified mortar or concrete.
