Get that fresh, clean pool look today by applying one of the many colors of Pro Master Pool Coating. Each color naturally dries with a gloss finish, but if you would prefer a non-slip finish you can add sand, marble dust, or pumice stone to the paint as desired. This extended life epoxy swimming pool paint can be applied over most other good condition epoxy pool coatings. No primer is needed – Pro Master Pool Coating is a self priming paint. Pro Master Pool Coating can be expected to cover 250 square feet per gallon, and two coats will be needed for proper application. This solvent based high build coating has a heavy duty 1:1 mix ratio.

Pro Master Pool Coating is available in both 2 gallon kits and 10 gallon kits. This 80% solids pool coating is dry to the touch in about 6-8 hours (at 75°F, 24°C) and can be re-coated with no sanding required between 16 and 72 hours if desired. The pool can be filled again with water after Pro Master Pool Coating has had 5 days to completely cure.
Use Xylene to thin and clean up. This premium epoxy swimming pool paint offers a coverage range of approximately 500 square feet per 2 gallon kit, and two full coats are required. Note that 50% less coverage results from use on rough, bare, or sandblasted surfaces. If you’re trying to figure out how much paint your pool job will require, here’s a helpful equation: Length x Width x 1.7 = square footage x 2 (2 coats) / 500 (coverage per 2 gallon kit) = kits needed. (Note that this equation assumes a purchase of a 2 gallon kit; make the necessary adjustments for a 10 gallon kit order.)
Instructions: Proper surface preparation is very important to the successful application of Pro Master Pool Coating. We recommend that you read the product label carefully before you begin the application process. Before applying this paint, mechanically mix Part A and Part B separately for 10 minutes, then combine them (1:1 mix ratio) and mix together mechanically for 10 more minutes. Only mix what you can apply within 4 hours. Allow 30 minutes to induct before applying. Thin with an epoxy reducer or high flash naphtha as needed for optimal performance. To apply, simply spray, brush, or roll on. When rolling (which is the preferred application form), use a 3/8” or ½” nap mohair, metal, lambskin, or phenolic core roller and keep it wet, rolling in one direction, rewetting, and then cross rolling. When spraying, use a conventional air sprayer (50-70 psi, tip size .055-.070) or an airless sprayer (2200-2500 psi, tip size .019-.023). Do not apply Pro Master Pool Coating if substrate, material, or ambient temperature is not between 50°F (10°C) and 95°F (35°C). Note that Pro Master Pool Coating is not intended for use on vinyl lined pools or metal pools.
