It is packaged in a convenient to use aerosol spray. It is one product that can be safely used to weatherproof and waterproof all types of materials and surfaces. This rubber weatherproofing product dries quickly and leaves a flexible clear rubber film. This rubber coating film remains flexible as it does not harden or crack over long periods of time. When desired, multiple coats of Weather Seal aerosol clear rubber coating can be applied for certain applications.   Weather Seal rubber weatherproofing can be used to waterproof electrical boxes, switch boxes, motor boxes and many other electrical type components. It is especially effective for waterproofing marine type electrical components where a water tight enclosure is required. Weather Seal clear rubber protectant is totally clear and any type print or identification markings can be easily read thru product. It has been tested and does not affect markers, ink and paint nor does it cause any visual  distortion.   Weather Seal rubber weatherproofing can be used on many different types of fabrics for waterproofing. It leaves a glossy clear film which remains pliable and flexible. The hardness of coating can be compared to that of a “rubber band.” Weather Seal rubber coating can also be used as a non slip for spraying the back of throw rugs. This procedure definitely helps in keeping an area rug from slipping on wood floors. It can also be used for applying to wood or steel shelves to help stop boxes from sliding in transit. In addition, it can be sprayed on the back of plastic to help prevent it from slipping.   Weather Seal quickly dries in about 15 minutes and can be reapplied when a thicker coating of rubber is desired.
