Diamond Grip is a heavy duty non slip safety coating designed to prevent industrial and commercial slip hazards. Diamond Grip is the toughest non slip coating available today.   This anti slip coating has a coefficient of friction in excess of 1.57: this is the most aggressive non slip surface treatment.   Can be used as an anti slip deck coating, in the ship yard, and almost anywhere a non slip floor treatment is needed. It can be used in both industrial non-slip coating and commercial applications. The base or liquid component of Diamond Grip is a 100% solids, two part special epoxy providing excellent adhesion to most any surface. GL-400, included with all Diamond Grip Kits, is an aggressive aggregate which produces non slip characteristics capable of withstanding continuous wear as a non-slip coating for heavy traffic such as forklifts, aircraft, autos, as well as foot traffic. Diamond Grip with GL-400 aggregate will last for years and is rated harder and tougher than silicon carbide.   GL-400 aggregate possesses a grit size of (20). Diamond Grip is mixed, then applied using a 3/8” nap roller cover. To achieve a more uniform appearance, masking tape is used before application. After Diamond Grip liquid has been applied, GL-400 aggregate is broadcast over entire wet surface. After curing (6 to 8 hrs), excess aggregate should be swept away before opening to traffic.   To insure proper adhesion of this non-slip surface treatment, surfaces should be clean and dry. A 60 to 100 grit sanding disc must be used on surface for creating the proper profile. This helps insure a successful application of this non skid tile coating while providing for long term slip protection safety.   Diamond Grip exhibits excellent anti slip floor coating results when used on concrete, steel, aluminum, wood and fiberglass.  Do not apply to uncured wood surfaces.   Diamond Grip has proven to be the industry leader when it comes to heavy duty safety and non slip surface coatings.  Diamond Grip base is a clear viscous liquid which is odorless and without harsh fumes. GL-400 aggregate is “charcoal” in color and provides a lustrous gemstone appearance in sunlight.
